Harriet’s Bakery is gluten-free, although wheat flour is occasionally used in the kitchen. All utensils, pans, pots, mixers, etc. that are used for GF products were purchased for that purpose.

While we are peanut free, other nuts are used in several products, however, nut-free versions can be ordered, except for the obvious, including almond macaroons, biscotti, chocolate almond macaroons, chocolate almond torte, crescents, linzer torte and pecan pie. Soy lecithin is an ingredient of the chocolate chips that are used. It is also an ingredient of PAM, which is used to coat pans for some products.

Almond Chocolate Biscotti (dairy-free)
Ingredients: Gluten-free flour mixture (white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch), sugar, slivered almonds, semisweet chocolate (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavor), eggs, vanilla, xanthan gum, baking powder.

Almond Macaroons (dairy- and flour-free)
Ingredients: Almond paste (blanched almonds, sugar, water, natural flavors, potassium sorbate (as a preservative)), sugar, egg whites, confectioners sugar, almond extract.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins
Ingredients: Apples, gluten-free flour mixture (white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch), sugar, eggs, butter, (sweet cream, salt), milk, baking powder, cinnamon, xanthan gum.

Apple Pie
Ingredients: Crust – butter (sweet cream, salt), gluten-free flour mixture (white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch), water, xanthan gum. Filling – apples, sugar, brown sugar (sugar, molasses), butter (sweet cream, salt), cinnamon, salt.

Biscuits
Ingredients: Brown rice flour mix (brown rice flour, sweet rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch, xanthan gum), water, butter (sweet cream, salt), cultured buttermilk blend (sweet cream churned buttermilk, sweet dairy whey, lactic acid), baking powder, sugar, salt.

Blueberry Corn Muffins (dairy-free, uses almond milk)
Ingredients: Gluten-free flour mixture (white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch), eggs, blueberries, almond milk, canola oil, sugar, cornmeal, lemon or orange zest, baking powder, xanthan gum, baking soda, salt.

Blueberry Pie
Ingredients: Crust – butter (sweet cream, salt), gluten-free flour mixture (white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch), water, xanthan gum. Filling — Blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, lemon rind.

Butter Cookies
Ingredients: Gluten-free flour mixture (white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch), butter (sweet cream, salt), sugar, eggs, vanilla, xanthan gum. Sprinkled with turbinado sugar.

Chocolate Almond Macaroons (dairy- and flour-free)
Ingredients: Sugar, semisweet chocolate (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavor), egg whites, almond flour, vanilla, salt.

Chocolate Almond Torte – large, 9 inch
